Red Clinic for Suspected Covid-19 Patients

The GP Practices in Winsford have been running their Red Clinic for suspected Covid-19 patients for a couple of weeks now. They would like to thank everyone for their support in this, particularly the car park marshals, Friends of Winsford Town Park and the Town Council.

There are some really important points we would like to make:

1. This is NOT a drop-in clinic. If you feel you need to see a doctor because of possible covid-19 you need to access NHS 111 (preferably on-line), or your GP practice if you cannot get through. The Red Clinic is by appointment only.
2. If you are invited to attend the Red Clinic you should drive there with windows closed, indicate to the marshals that you are for the Red Clinic, and stay in your car with your windows still closed until you are advised to do otherwise.
3. If you are invited to attend the Red Clinic you should ONLY drive to the clinic and back home again.
4. The Red Clinic is NOT a testing centre, do not ask to come to this clinic just because you want a test.
